In-Game Video recording & FRAPS alternative

Looking to get my Steam Summer Camp video upload ticket without shelling out $$$ for FRAPS...

What to do?

Turns out XFire's got a handy little video recording feature, and Windows Live Movie Maker lets you publish to YouTube. Only thing I didn't like was the video quality, so I kept looking.

Eventually came across VirtualDub, which lets me "Save as" a standard AVI that I can upload with better video quality.

Problem solved.
